This study highlights global variations in the diagnostic criteria for Kawasaki disease, revealing that, compared to others, European physicians may diagnose complete KD earlier than day 5 of fever and that coronary artery lesions play a key role in diagnosing incomplete KD. These findings provide real-life data and emphasize that current guidelines still allow room for interpretation in diagnosing KD.
