Originally designed for participants of our STSM research and networking programme in Lausanne, this session is now open to a wider audience due to its relevance for anyone working with medical and health-related data.
The lecture will cover key methodological challenges in biostatistics, with a focus on ensuring robust and reliable analysis. Topics include informative clustering and intraclass correlation, as well as critical insights into the use of medical repositories—highlighting common pitfalls, essential considerations, and practical solutions.
