In this 45-minute presentation, Dr. Véronique Hentgen, pediatric rheumatologist at the Centre Hospitalier de Versailles and holder of a University Diploma in Planetary Health, will provide an overview of the environmental challenges facing healthcare today and explore how healthcare professionals across all specialties can contribute to more sustainable care.
Drawing on practical examples from clinical practice and healthcare organizations, she will discuss actionable strategies to reduce the environmental footprint of healthcare at both the individual and institutional levels, while maintaining high-quality patient care.
